Paul votes against Ike disaster aid
Since the days following Hurricane Ike that decimated much of the coastal and inland communities citizens and community leaders are still struggling. Sadly, they are not getting any help from their elected congressional representative Ron Paul. Why? Ron Paul was one of only a handful in the U.S. Congress that actually voted against federal aid for his own struggling constituents. Of course, Ron Paul had no problems repairing his own storm damage as he had the means to do so as a very wealthy multi-millionaire. Citizens were shocked and offended on January 31st when Ron Paul was a no show for the Texas Congressional District 14 debates in Lake Jackson which is his home town! All other candidates in the Republican Party primaries were present for the debate. Read The Article
